I only wish that all of the contractors that I work with could be more like Scott Taylor — professional, knowledgeable, steady, fair, accessible, communicative and just plain nice. He will make sure everybody is on the same page before a shovel ever touches the ground, an underestimated but extremely valuable practice.

“Impressed with their skill and experience”
Over the past 20 years, we have used Taylor Concepts for large and small remodeling projects on four homes in the Washington area. While our projects have ranged in size, we are particularly impressed with their skill and experience in managing very large projects. In one home, Taylor Concepts added a two story addition. About a decade later, we contracted with Taylor Concepts to completely remodel a kitchen and later raise the roof over the kitchen to add a room above. Scott Taylor, the owner, and his team were always accessible for questions and suggestions and very straightforward in responding - this was very important to us in our major construction projects. Taylor Concepts worked well with our architects and in some cases we have used their in-house design team. For example, in a master-bath and closet/dressing area remodel, Taylor Concepts did all of the drawings in-house and came up with a very unique tile design. In addition, Taylor Concepts has a great network of subcontractors for cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, tiling, etc. Finally, Taylor Concepts provided us with excellent customer service, clear and transparent contracts, updated timelines for each project, and clear/accurate billing.
